Today I watched a movie, the fighter, which is quite exciting. Brother Dick had boxing talent since childhood and always trained his younger brother Mickey. Dick defeated the world champion in his twenties, becoming the pride of his hometown. The impetuous Dick started taking drugs and never recovered. Dick and his family's hopes were placed on Mickey. To help raise training funds for his brother, Dick went to prison. Mickey's right hand was seriously injured in a conflict with the police while helping his brother. Confused and lost, Mickey almost gave up boxing. Later, with the help of family, girlfriend, and others, he returned to the ring and qualified for the world championship. At that time, Dick was released from prison. The brothers reconciled, Dick trained Mickey, and with brotherly unity, Mickey finally won the championship.

This is not the main point I want to talk about tonight. I have seen many inspirational movies based on true stories, such as Glory, Goal!, Rudy, The Greatest Game Ever Played, and The Pursuit of Happyness. They all tell stories of protagonists who endure hardships, strive unremittingly, and finally achieve success. They share a common characteristic, which is the title of today's movie: fighter. Fortunately, as fighters, they all succeeded in the end.

What about those fighters who did not succeed?

Without success, there is no appeal, and it would not be a good movie script. But it is real life, a movie that plays every day without a script, happening around us, and we are all actors. A general's success is built on the bones of thousands; those who achieve great success are rare. Most of us are ordinary people, but we have all been or are now fighters. We have all had ambitions, worked hard, or are still working hard. Most of us will not achieve great things. Most of us have to go to work, earn a living, and strive to live. Most of us are such fighters.

History, like movies, is the history of victors. But life belongs to each of us. We all have our own histories. Most of our histories are memories when we are old and near death. At that time, recalling the days when we were fighters, we will smile knowingly.
